About Our Rescue
Our rescue’s mission is to help smelly, outdoor, stray, barn cats and their kittens through rescue, adoption, spay/neuter services and community programs.
Find out more about Smelly Cat Rescue’s mission, goals and team. We’re a new presence in the St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri areas, but we’re here to make a difference in our community! We hope you’ll join us in helping these cats and raising awareness about responsible pet ownership.

What We Do
Rescuing Animals
Rescuing smelly, stray outdoor or barn cats to get them cleaned, vetted and into indoor foster homes.
Pet Microchipping
Microchipping allows adopters to register their new best friends so if they get lost, there’s always a way home.
Spay & Neuter
Spay & neutering helps control the pet population so there are fewer stray cats and kittens around that need our help.
Cat & Kitten Adoption
Our favorite part of the job is finding loving FURever homes for our smelly cats!
$25 Saves a Life
Donating just $25 will help us save a cat and get them into a foster home with food and supplies for a week, including a warm bed and toys, possibly for the first time ever!
Become a Foster
We love to see our cats find their FURever families, but if you’ve got a spare room in your home & heart to foster, we’re always looking for loving people to temporarily take care of our smelly cats!
Adopt a Smelly Cat
All of the smelly cats that we take in are up for adoption! We hold them for a bit to make sure they’re healthy and sociable, but then they’ll be ready for their FUR-ever homes like yours!

Fostering for Smelly Cat Rescue has been the best experience! I love knowing I'm making a difference in the lives of these little cuties and finding them their perfect-fit families is so rewarding. Not to mention, all the kitty snuggles is pretty great, too.
