When you’re ready to add a new furry family member to your home, we’ve always got cats of all varieties to choose from up for adoption. If you’re unsure of what kind of cat would be right for your family, reach out to us and we’d be happy to learn more about the type of personality you’re looking for and connect you with a foster of one of our cats that would be a perfect match for you! Many of our adoptable cats are available for visits, pets and play at our partner facility, the Cat Zen Cafe and Lounge on beautiful and historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO! Walk-ins welcome or reservations can be made (and highly encouraged!) through their website for 30 minute ($8.00) or 1 hour ($12.50) increments (+ tax) and you can also enjoy a hot or cold beverage and snack while getting to know some of our amazing adoptable floofs in an open area setting. Play with them with toys, sit on the comfy couches while they snooze or just enjoy the pets and snuggles of a cozy purr machine and find your own ‘Zen’. Cat Zen Cafe and Lounge is an independently owned and operated for-profit business and not run or staffed by Smelly Cat Rescue volunteers. SCR volunteers will coordinate with Cafe staff to facilitate adoptions and pickups. Please note that an application for a cat that is housed at Cat Zen Cafe does not gain you free access to the Cat Zen cat lounge.
